At first, a compagny is a simple idea. Almost 40 year ago, in 1967, Jean Julien stood up. After a few years working for J.H. Chalut, one of the major Québec distributors, he put a name to his dream, against all odds. Jean Julien Ltd was born. Helped by wis wife, Jaqueline Beauchemin, he built a dynamic entreprise, at the service of the professionnal hairdressers for nearly four decades now...                         

Like many young entrepeneurs, he must face a lot of difficulties to establish is name, reputation, and keep his newborn company alive. Business is " a struggle in the jungle ", he use to say with a proud smile. Just as the pionners who came to northern Québec and Ontario at the beginning of the 20th century, he never gave up. Working hard and so many hours, he made Jean Juline Ltd one of the leaders in its domaine. In 1976, Jean & Jaqueline's son, Jean- Pierre, joined the team. In 1989, in partnership with Denis Lacoursière,          ean-Pierre acquired             " the flame ".                                                                                                                                                                                                    
Now employing 11 people, the enterprise shows a very different look. From the times Jean was operating the business with his wife, in their basement, the company moved a few time and now occupies a 7000 square feet facility, located at 333 Dallaire street, Rouyn- Noranda, Qc. Recently, a modern classroom was built to anwser a growing demand for the latest specialized techniques, without traveling all the way to Montréal or Toronto.

There is no doubt that Jean Julien Ltd crossed the years growing stronger and stronger, and is definitely ready for the third millenium!!!
